Forest: L'Estanquet is located in Europe's largest forest, close to " le parc naturel des landes de gascogne ", which is famous for its virgin landscape and rich wildlife throughout the different seasons.

Lakes: L'Estanquet is also 200 m from the lake of Parentis and 10 mn from the lake of Biscarrosse and Aureilhan (where W.Churchill, Coco Chanel, C. Chaplin and others used to holiday).

Ocean: Only 20 mn from l'Estanquet to the beaches of Mimizan and Biscarrosse and just 30 mn from the Dune du Pyla (Europe's highest sand dune).

Bassin d'Arcachon: only 30 mn from the ornithological park, l'Ile aux Oiseaux etc…
